They explore new concepts and build skills in a playful and engaging way. Learning tools, like writing and counting, improve immensely without the children really realizing they are doing "work". The teachers work hard to plan each day with thoughtful themes and nonstop activities. Every day is different. It awakened our daughter's curiosity about so many things. "We are so grateful for the 5+ Program and the incredible experience it gave our son this past year. Instead of sending him straight to kindergarten, we chose 5+ because we felt he would benefit from an extra year to grow, explore and build confidence - and it was absolutely the right decision.

“Our relationship with Maiden Cove goes way back to the mid-1980s when my husband was a student of Mrs. Farris! When we moved back to Maine we enrolled our daughter, and she was a student there for 2 years before moving onto kindergarten. Her younger brother is now in his second year at Maiden Cove! Our kids and we could not be happier with their time at Maiden Cove. It is such a special place where the emphasis is placed on all the “right” things: respect, fun, and friendship.
